MICROWAVE EMISSION FROM MAGNETIC‐FIELD‐FREE ELECTRON‐HOLE PLASMAS
1.Several authors have observed microwave emission from electron‐hole plasmas in the presence of both applied electric and magnetic fields, an effect discovered by R. D. Larrabee and W. A. Hicinbothem, Jr., Symposium on Plasma Effects in Solids (Academic Press, New York, 1964), p. 181.
2.Namely, the voltage drop across a 1‐Ω resistor in series with the sample mounted close to it, but external to the waveguide.

5.In principle the output from two pulsers could be summed with the proper delay to produce a variety of conductance conditions during the second pulse; however, in practice it is difficult to obtain sufficiently short delays and high voltages without the pulsers “pulling” each other.
