Frequency dependence of ECE in P(VDF-TrFE-CFE) terpolymer obtained using IR imaging characterization. The measurements were performed at 60 V/μm on a 1 cm × 1 cm × 50 μm sample. On the bottom left hand corner is shown an enlargement of temperature signal right after an electric field step, showing the electrocaloric creep effect.
