Different bonding states of Cs and O on highly photoemissive GaAs by flash−desorption experiments

14.The fractional monolayer measurements are obtained from a curve (not shown) of the linear growth of the peak‐to‐peak 47‐V Auger signal vs adsorption. The abrupt saturation of this growth curve is assumed to be due to one monolayer (Ref. 4). The fact that the GaAs LEED pattern disappears at this point is consistent with this assumption.
