High‐efficiency high‐average‐power second‐harmonic generation with CdGeAs2

2.A study of peak amplitude as a function of pulse separation under conditions of constant electrical input to the laser and constant chopper wheel velocity indicates that, relative to the amplitude for a 1‐msec separation, the amplitude is reduced by a factor of 1/e for a 23‐μsec separation. At a repetition rate of 12 kHz the factor is close to 0.8.
