11.Note that the extinction ratio of the setup was measured relatively to the ejected retroreflected intensity and not relatively to the incident intensity. Hence, because of losses and of resonant Doppler-broadened absorption, a efficiency (4 nW for 40 μW) is observed with a typical 3—5 contrast.
