7.Note that (calc) corresponds to the mean temperature across the 1-mm-cavity-length diode, whereas (meas) corresponds to the lasing-wavelength temperature. Higher modal gain at lower temperature should favor lasing at shorter wavelength than is associated with the mean junction temperature of the diode.
