3.For a hysteretic curve, the bolometric operation is significantly more complicated, compared to commonly used nonhysteretic materials. The temperature induced variation of resistance only initially follows the curve. A stable, reversible minor loop normally is formed after an initial accomodation process. Due to the change of slope, thermal resistance coefficients of the minor loop are different from major outer loop [Fig. 1(b)].
