The time-delayed scanning traces of elliptically polarized and parallel linearly polarized pump-probe spectroscopy for quantum wells. The dotted lines show the experimental data and the solid lines denote the fitting to the experimental data using Eq. (5). The curve is taken for right elliptically polarized pump and probe lights, and is shifted up for clarity. The curve is obtained for the same pump light as the curve but a left elliptically polarized probe light, and is shifted down for clarity. The curve is the normal relaxation of electron population excited and probed by parallel linearly polarized lights.
