Are spin junction transistors suitable for signal processing?

8.This assumption is questionable. In the emitter-base junction, carriers travel upstream against an electric field, whereas in the collector-base junction, they travel downstream. There is significant difference between the spin diffusion lengths for upstream and downstream transport. See, Z. G. Yu and M. E. Flatté, Phys. Rev. B, 66, 201202 (2002).
