Schematic views of the beam arrangement used in the experiment and the observed beam spots on a screen in different electric field values; (a) 69 V∕μm, (b) 77 V∕μm, and (c) 85 V∕μm. Direction of the electric field applied to the medium was indicated with the arrow . On the screen, the fanning beam spot was shown by (s3), in addition, a transmitted pump beam through the lower prism (s2) and the reflected pump at substrate–polymer interface (s1) were also observed. The screen was placed 19 cm away from the sample. Center parts of the spots, s1 and s2, show signal saturated regions of a detector and not unlighted ones.
