OA spectra of Au nanoparticle samples (curve a–c). The absolute intensity of the plasmon peak in the sample is two and eight times more than that of the 3.1 and samples, respectively. To improve the clarity, the absorption spectra of Au nanoparticles (curve a–c) are normalized with the peak intensity of the plasmon absorption. The absolute intensity of the absorption spectrum of the quartz substrate showing zero absorption is also given (curve d).
