Schematic energy band diagram of the single quantum well, where and are electron energy levels; and are hole energy levels; is the width of the quantum well; and are the forbidden gap of the InAsSb active layer and confining barrier, respectively; and are band offsets at the heteroboundary. Energy spectrum for electrons and holes was computed taking into account the intermixing of localized states and band nonparabolicity. The values of all energy levels and differences for QW thicknesess and are presented in the text.
