Summary of the nematic-istotropic transition temperatures, permittivities, and the elastic constants measured at temperatures in a range of 24 and 26 °C. Alternating current voltages were applied at 1 kHz except for MDA-02-2419 where 10 kHz was used. The measurements for the planar cell (rubbed polymide alignment, pretilt <0.5 °) were performed in a 22 μm guard ring cell using an Agilent 4284A capacitance bridge, whereby the values of , and were extracted by a fitting process using nematic continuum theory assuming strong anchoring.
