Experimental setup (top view). LD: tunable laser diode; M: mirror; WP: wedge plate; HWP: half wave plate; QWP: quarter wave plate; PBS: polarizing beam splitter; PD: photodiode; FC: fiber coupler; SMF: single-mode fiber. PBS3 and HWP4 positioned at the output were inserted when the polarization transmission properties of the fiber shown in Fig. 2 were measured.
