Table I.

Orbital , spin , and total magnetic moments of Re at in the series. Values are given in for the number of holes derived from the x-ray absorption spectra (first line for each compound) and reported in theoretical calculations. The last four columns present the Re spin moment values reported in literature for the compounds studied references in text). They were determined using neutron diffraction (ND) and nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) as well as calculated using local spin density approximation (LSDA) and generalized gradient approximation (GGA).
