(a) Comparison of the intensity profile along the YIG stripe measured by BLS for a fixed time after the microwave excitation pulse was launched with numerical simulations. Simulation 1 uses experimental data from the spin-wave reflection on a single wire (Ref. 9) to establish the reflectivity of the current-induced inhomogeneity. In simulation 2, the reflectivity of the structure is directly used as parameter. The numbers indicate the order in which the pulses were formed. (b) Numerical simulations with dynamically adjusted currents and reflection coefficients. The reflection coefficients in simulation 2 are determined according to Eq. (1).
