Pictures of the QDIP with the metallic 2DSHAs. (a) Top view and (b) zoom-in view. The 2DSHA is a square lattice with the lattice constant . The diameter of the hole is . The thickness of the metal film is 30 nm.
(a) Blue trace: measured FTIR transmission spectrum of the Ref-2DSHA at 77 K, Red dashed line: curve fitting of the two peak Fano-type transmission using Eq. (3). The transmission profile agrees well with the experiment FTIR transmission spectrum of the Ref-2DSHA. (b) FTIR photocurrent spectrum of the QDIP-2DSHA (pink trace) and the Ref-QDIP (blue trace) measured at 77 K. The photocurrent spectrum of the QDIP-2DSHA (pink trace) over 100% enhancement at wavelength and slight enhancement at wavelength region. The enhancement regions correspond to the two Fano dips in the FTIR transmission spectrum of the Ref-2DSHA.
Photoresponsivity of the QDIP-2DSHA (solid-square trace) and the Ref-QDIP (dashed-diamond trace) at different biases at the sample temperature of 77 K. The photoresponsivity of the QDIP-2DSHA (solid square trace) shows over 100% enhancement at all biases.
