Laser spectrum of a folded FP cavity QC laser with half-ring diameter of and straight ridge length of 1.18 mm operated at 80 K in pulsed mode at 120% threshold current. Single-mode emission with a SMSR of 27 dB is achieved. The inset shows the spectrum of another laser (straight ridge length 1.06 mm and half-ring diameter ) that has four dominant modes at 160% threshold current.
