(Color online) Schematic of thermally driven electric currents for an SMM tunnel junction and reversal of the SMM’s spin. The carrier of heat current is the hole for the LUMO level ɛ 0 below EF (a) and the electron for ɛ 0 above EF (b), both of them leading to opposite orientations of the SMM’s core spin.
