The new, dedicated home for cutting-edge reviews in applied physics
Applied Physics Reviews (APR) is currently a key component of the Journal of Applied Physics, but will be published independently of its parent journal in January 2014. APR contains review articles of important and current topics of experimental or theoretical research in applied physics and applications of physics to other branches of science and engineering. These review articles may vary in scope and length—from comprehensive reviews covering established areas in-depth to concise reviews covering new and emerging areas of science.
How researchers will benefit:
- Greater emphasis on authoritative applied physics reviews – and broader topic coverage
- Substantial increase in the number of published reviews in response to the recent rapid growth in applied physics research (and strong history of Journal of Applied Physics)
- Enhanced portfolio across all types of research reporting formats – including Letters, Full Length Articles and Reviews
- Guaranteed quality guided by expanded editorial oversight – 2 Editors and the addition of 6 new Associate Editors
