A pair of slits with width of 30 nm and center-to-center separation 60 nm is illuminated by a normally incident TM wave along the positive direction of the axis; resolvable super-resolution images of the slits are obtained at the image plane of the C-slab.
(Color online) Cross section of intensity distribution of the slit images at the image plane of the C-slab and the free space with thickness of 80 nm. The image contrast value of 0.439 is obtained in the C-slab superlens, and clearly demonstrates that the C-slab superlens can beat the near-field diffraction limit.
