The field distributions for central cross section of a single Au NP (a) and hexagonally arrayed Au NPs (b) at wavelength of 800 nm. The geometry of the Au NP arrays is the same as that shown in Fig. 2(b). The radius and height of the NP is 18 and 17 nm, respectively. The center distance between two adjacent NPs is 51 nm. The polarization direction and propagation direction of the excited electric field are x axis and z axis, respectively.
