Hysteresis loops along hard and easy axes of the (Mn75Ir25)0.9(Al2O3)0.1 (12 nm)/[FeCo (35 nm)/(Mn75Ir25)0.9(Al2O3)0.1 (12 nm)]10 multilayered film. The small steps seen in the easy axis loop are due to the different unidirectional magnetic anisotropies acting on different interfaces of the samples. Further detailed discussion of the physical origin of these small steps can be found in Ref. 26.
