Reflectionless Transmission through Dielectrics and Scattering Potentials
1.The situation here resembles one described by Bargmann [Revs. Modern Phys. 21, 3, 488 (1949)] for the radial Schrödinger equation with zero angular momentum. Bargmann has produced an example of a potential for the radial equation such that the corresponding zero angular momentum asymptotic phase shift is zero. In spite of their superficial resemblance, however, the problem considered here and the example of Bargmann are quite different in several important respects.
