2.Silberglitt and Torrance distinguish two types of two‐magnon bound states, “exchange bound states,” and “single‐ion bound states.” The latter corresponds to two spin flips on the same site and dominates the bound state spectrum in the presence of a large anisotropy field. Since the excited spin states of derived from the effective manifold, are obtained by explicitly including multiple spin flips on the same site, it is clear that these excitations represent “single‐ion bound states” in the presence of large anisotropy.
