14.Assumption of 2D current conservation is not necessarily a good one. If current is carried out of the image area, or if current is supplied by a wire that travels out of the plane, then the assumption will fail and artifacts may appear in the resulting current density image.

18.Note that no matter how close the SQUID is to the source, since the SQUID integrates the field over its loop area, we would never obtain spatial resolution s smaller than the effective size of the SQUID. It is possible to deconvolve the area of the SQUID out of the data to a certain extent, as discussed in Ref. 13.
