22.The thermal average decoherence time for the solvated electron in an aqueous environment was determined to be 5.3 fs based on a local normal mode analysis and 5.8 fs from a high-temperature wave packet width and Cartesian coordinate system analysis. These new values were calculated from a 32 ps equilibrium adiabatic excited state trajectory where the long-range electrostatic part of the potential was evaluated via an Ewald summation. We note that the previously published value of 2.7 fs based on the local normal mode analysis was incorrect due to an error in computation, and should have been reported as 4.9 fs.
