The lifetimes for the radiative decay of different upper states rotational levels in the first electronically excited state of NH2 2 A 1 ) plotted against the state energy. Shown here are the results for both the Π and Φ vibronic symmetries of the (0, 8, 0) band. Radiative coupling of the 110 state to the ground state is weak because of the selection rules (linked through a satellite line). The 312 is perturbed by a Fermi resonance with the ground state as shown by the increased lifetimes.
