Growth of Anthracene Whiskers by Vapor Deposition
1.A single dislocation may be replaced by a group of parallel dislocations. Details of the whisker growth are modified both as to kinetics of step motion and thermodynamic stability. The number and the arrangement of the dislocation group is significant.
2.The pertinent supersaturation is that existing in the self‐adsorbed layer on the surface of the growing crystal. The radius of the whisker and the presence of a dislocation must be accounted in an estimation of supersaturation.
