Phys. 5, 217 (1962)] which exhibits a large proton hyperfine splitting, the radicals and would have large fluorine hyperfine splittings if they were nonplanar. Walsh’s arguments predict the be nonplanar while is planar because the former has two more valence electrons than the latter.
