16.High resolution, eigenstate resolved spectra of the aliphatic C–H stretches in both ethanol [Ref. 2(c)] and 2-fluorethanol [Ref. 2(e)] have been reported. However, no reports of the spectrum of the O–H stretch were made, despite the report of extensive searches in the case of 2-fluoroethanol.
