6.It should be noted that in Figs. 1 and 2 we have plotted on the ordinate, respectively, rather than and however, for the present case of small amplitudes, and so that the above comparison is justified.
7.It is very interesting to note that the initial conditions (12) which were obtained by demanding that the small‐amplitude solutions have similar (i.e., identical or integral multiple) periodicities, are good enough even for large amplitude [as confirmed by numerical integration of Eqs. (3a) and (3c)].
