4.The ILESTA‐BG code has been developed as a one‐dimensional background part of a code named ILESTA‐PB for simulating the development of linear perturbations. The ILESTA‐BG code is based on the Lagrangian fluid equation for one fluid and two temperatures and also the numerical (finite difference) scheme of R. L. McCrory, R. L. Morse, and K. A. Taggart [Nucl. Sci. Eng. 64, 163 (1977)] has been used.
4.This scheme is a modified two‐step leap frog method. The MEDUSA code [J. P. Christiansen, D. E. T. F. Ashby, and K. V. Roberts, Comput. Phys. Commun. 7, 271 (1974)] is also referred to especially for solving temperature relaxation, etc.
4.The multigroup method for radiation transport was solved by referring mainly to H. L. Wilson’s work [in Progress in High Temperature Physics and Chemistry (Pergamon, Oxford, 1972), Vol. 5, p. 125].

19.When the shock wave reflected from the target center collides with the fuel‐pusher interface, and if the static pressure of the fuel is smaller than the dynamical pressure of the pusher the shock wave is reflected and the so‐called stagnation dynamics appears.18 However, an implosion mode characterized by the condition is not accompanied by the stagnation dynamics. In this case, when the shock wave collides with the interface, the pusher is accelerated outward in a pulsing manner. We call such an implosion a “stagnation‐free implosion.” In general, the implosion mode in which neutron production in the stagnation phase is not relatively essential is called here the stagnation‐free implosion.
