4.It is interesting to note that with the same photomultiplier and amplifier gains, the distribution of pulses of a given average height is much narrower using the cathode‐ray tube as a light source instead of a NaI crystal. However, the ability to change k and independently allows one to simulate conditions in scintillation measurements.
