Overview of the multipass etalon setup. The etalon itself is normally enclosed by a double-layered copper box for electromagnetic isolation. The whole setup is placed inside a foamed plastic box for acoustic and stray light isolation.

Probe laser scan around the EIT resonance. The EIT transmission peak is clearly visible. Background due to pump photons that were anti-Stokes scattered into the probe mode (around ) is subtracted from the raw data. The inset shows a typical simulated EIT spectrum.
