The prototype setup which consists of the following major parts: vacuum chamber with pumping, ion gun with deflection plates, three pieces of Einzel lens, Faraday cup detector, modulators 1 and 2, deflection controls 1 and 2, high frequency drive amplifier, controlled oscillator (Type Tabor WW 2571), band pass electrometer, Labjack board, and PC.

Partially disassembled modulator electrodes. Underneath the modulator plates, there is an aperture with 0.25 mm slit size. The modulator plates are connected to the feedthroughs. The same aperture will be assembled, as located underneath, on the four pieces of screws.
