Two-dimensional vibrational correlation spectroscopy was applied to the analysis of the melt crystallization of PEN. Synchronous 2D FT-IR correlation spectra in C=O stretching vibration region indicate a large amount of increase in amorphous structure with high coplanarity and a decrease in amorphous structure with low coplanarity as well as a small increase in crystal conformation, in the induction period.
