Precise measurements of Ψ′ and Drell-Yan production in 800 GeV/c p-A collisions are reported. The observed and Ψ′ suppression is smallest and nearly constant for and increases at larger values of Suppression is also strongest at small A substantial difference in and Ψ′ suppression at low is observed for the first time in p-A collisions. The behavior of the Drell-Yan ratios is well described at small by an existing fit to the shadowing observed in deep-inelastic scattering. The cross-section ratios as a function of set tight limits on the energy loss of quarks passing through a cold nucleus.
