A semi‐continuous Boltzmann equation for particles with general dispersion relations

This paper presents a generalized semi‐continuous Boltzmann equation to describe the kinetics of particles with non‐classical dispersion relations. The kinetic equations are derived, and the conservation properties of the model are investigated. Numerical results for the relaxation of a hot electron gas in semiconductors are discussed.
