We have measured the terahertz radiated field from unimplanted and Fe‐implanted dipole antenna based on In0.53Ga0.47As by 1.56 μm wavelength excitation of 5 and 7 mW. The maximum amplitude of the radiation waveforms from both the unimplanted and implanted emitters are found to be proportional to the applied electric field up to 5 and 12.5 kV/cm, respectively. The shape of the normalized THz radiation waveform from both the emitters is also independent of the magnitude of the applied field. Fe implantation induces a change of the THz radiated pulse width from 0.80 ps to 0.56 ps.
