We report on the measurement of the ratio of the inclusive cross sections for Z + b jet to Z+ jets in pp̄ collisions at the center of mass energy of 1.96 TeV. Dataset of 180 pb −1 luminosity collected by the DØdetector is used for the measurement. Decays of Z to both μ+μ− and e+e− are studied. The ratio is measured to be 0.021 ± 0.005 for jets with pT > 20 GeV/c within pseudorapidities of 2.5. This is consistent with the next‐to‐leading order predictions of the standard model. We also briefly report on the measurement of the ratio of the Z/γ*(→ e+e− )+ ⩾ n jet (where n = 1, 2, 3, 4, 5) to inclusive Z/γ*(→ e+e− )+ jet cross sections using 343 pb −1 luminosity.
