The halo properties of the odd light nuclei have been studied with the deformed Skyrme‐Hartree‐Fock model, in which the blocking effect of the odd nucleon is taken into account. For nuclei near drip lines, the pairing was treated in the frame of Lipkin‐Nogami method, using a volume‐surface mixing paring interaction. The 1/2+ state in 11Be was calculated to have a very large soft deformation. The origin of deformed halo structures was discussed.
