A dynanically adaptive grid scheme is introduced for the representation of quantum wavefunctions by Multiresplution Multiwavelet (MRMW) basis. A restricted direct product of individual dimension is introduced for representing the Cayley operator and it proves to reduce drastically the computational time and storage space for high dimension problems where the straightforward application of MRMW is too complicated. The efficiency of the scheme is tested in a semi‐classical dynamics simulation of molecular electronic system. The time evolution of the wavefunction is stable.
