At the time of this Conference, the ORNL‐NSF National Facility for Small‐Angle Neutron Scattering will have been operating routinely for about one year. The Facility, part of a National Center for Small‐Angle Scattering Research, is a National User‐Oriented Facility created under an interagency agreement between the NSF and the DOE, located at the High Flux Isotope Reactor at ORNL. It is intended that this paper review some of the scientific highlights of the past year.
