The development of the Coded‐mask CCD Camera (CCC) is reported. To monitor GRBs, transient phenomena, and bright X‐ray objects, we are developing a wide‐field camera system. The combination of one‐dimensional coded mask and CCD operated in parallel‐sum mode enables us to locate X‐ray source and monitor its activity with temporal resolution as short as milliseconds. The system consists of two cameras aimed at the same field of view (FOV) as large as 1 sr. The two cameras determine the x position and y of a source, respectively. By dividing the FOV into several segments, BGD due to bright sources can be reduced.
