SYNTHESIS AND CHARACTERAIZATION OF NANOPARTICLES FOR MAGNETIC HYPERTHERMIA APPLICATION

The superparamagnetic magnetite nanoparticles were synthesized by microemulsion technique. The synthesized nanoparticles were 10 nm with good crystalline nature. The superparamagnetic property was observed from vibrating sample magnetometer study. Specific absorption (SAR) of the nanoparticles were calculated for different AC magnetic field amplitude at constant frequency. Calculated SAR was found to be square field dependent.
