A method is proposed to employ thermal light for high accuracy synchronization of two distant clocks. This method does not rely on the arrival times of the signals which are exchanged. The ultra‐high accuracy relies on the second order coherence of true thermal light. We show that the measurement accuracy can achieve, in principle, femtosecond rang. The experimental setup can be realized with currently available technology, at least for a proof of principle.
