The anemovane using load cell measures the wind direction through the ratio of load between 4 positions by mounting the thin plate to 4 load cells which are arranger with 90° space. At the same time, it can measure the wind velocity through the summation of loads. It is required to derive accurate correlation between the load ratio and the wind direction to develop a precise product because the load ratio repeats every 90° since it uses 4 load cells and its value varies with non-linearity according to the wind direction. In this research, we performed the analytic approach to derive the correlation between the load ratio and the wind direction. Then, the results determined from the analytic approach were compared with those of experiments. That is, fluid analysis was carried out using ANSYS CFX, and the wind tunnel test was performed for prototype using a self-manufactured wind tunnel. To derive an analytic relation, the wind direction was selected as the design variable. In this process, the wind direction was changed from 0° to 90° with increasing 7.5° space.
