We study the co-condensation of nonane and in a supersonic flow, using small angle X-ray scattering to characterize the size and number density of the aerosol and Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy to determine the composition. Under our experimental conditions, we observe nucleating at a rate that is somewhat reduced by the presence of nonane. Nonane however, readily condenses on the water clusters impeding the growth of the nanodroplets by .
