Summary of grain size distribution statistics for each distribution shown in Fig. 2. Distribution type, mean size , and relative standard deviation describe the PDF of the particle size distribution. Median size , geometric standard deviation , inclusive graphic skewness , and graphic kurtosis describe the statistics in terms of the corresponding mass distributions.
